Alexandra Kruip

Therapist Trainee

Alexandra Kruip was born and raised in Chino Hills, CA and received her BA in Sociology at University of California Irvine and continued her education at Pepperdine University where she received a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy. Alexandra started her career as an ABA therapist working with children on the autism spectrum. She then went on to be an MFT Trainee at Crittenton Services for Children and Families before finding her niche here at Casa Capri Recovery helping women find freedom from their addiction. Alexandra has worked with many different facets of life all with the same goal in mind—helping individuals transition into the next phase of life. Alexandra’s experience includes working at a youth shelter with unaccompanied minors, working with adolescents struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders, and providing services to children on the autism spectrum. Alexandra prides herself in being able to successfully transition high-acuity clients that struggle with chemical dependency and mental health disorders out of short-term residential care and into the world where they can begin living life again. Alexandra is a team player that is caring, adaptive and creative in her approach which makes her an asset at Casa Capri Recovery. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and true crime podcasts.
