Kristine Adams, M.S, AMFT, CATC-IV
Kristine grew up in Southern California. She began working in the field of addiction in 2006 when she transitioned from being a client to a support staff at a local treatment center. She continued to grow in the field of recovery working as a case manager in various treatment centers after completing the Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certificate program in 2011. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Human Services in 2013 from California State University of Fullerton. Kristine continued her education completing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2016. She is currently registered as a MFT Associate as well as a CATC-IV. Kristine is currently pursuing a Psy. D in the Doctoral program in Applied Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she is expected to graduate in June 2019.
Kristine battled with the disease of addiction in her life for over 18 years. Now with 11 years of sobriety, she lives her purpose daily and leads by example. Kristine knows she is destined to help those continuing to suffer and inspires positive change in her clients’ lives.
